This is strictly based on your personal comfort level. Keep in mind every home is different. 70° degrees might feel good at your neighbor’s house but not yours. Adjust it to match your comfort, however, know that the set points dictate run times.

This varies from house to house. Some homes need the filter changed every 2-3 weeks and some homes only need them changed every 2-3 months. It is a good idea to check your filter every few weeks (for a few months) to get an idea on how often your filter needs to be changed.

NOTE: If the filter needs to be changed very often and you notice that dust quickly accumulates in your home, look into having your air ducts cleaned!
